Privacy Policy

App data

CigTrax does not collect your cigarette tracking history. Your consumption logs, pack history, reminders, preferences, and analysis records stay in encrypted local app storage on your device.

• No account is required.
• No name, email address, or phone number is required by the app.
• No cloud sync is provided in the current app.
• No in-app analytics or tracking identifier is created.
• CSV export is user-controlled from Settings.

Camera and pack scans

CigTrax uses the camera only when you choose to scan a pack. Camera frames are analyzed on your device to suggest a remaining count. Capture frames are not uploaded to CigTrax or to an external analysis service.

You review the remaining count before a log is written. If camera access is not enabled, you can still track manually.

Privacy choices and data controls

App data remains on your device until you clear history, reset the app, or uninstall CigTrax. Because CigTrax does not keep app accounts or cloud copies of your tracking history, there is no server-side tracking history for CigTrax to recover or delete.

• Export local logs as CSV from Settings.
• Clear history from Settings to remove local tracking records.
• Reset the app from Settings to restart onboarding.
• Uninstall CigTrax to remove app-local storage from the device.
• Use support for privacy questions.

Support form data

If you contact support through the website, the support form asks for a topic and message, and lets you optionally provide a reply email address. Support form submissions are voluntary and are processed by Google Forms.

Support submissions are separate from the CigTrax app's local tracking storage. They are retained as needed to respond, maintain support history, and meet legal obligations.

When you open the external support form, Google may process technical and usage information under its own Privacy Policy.

Do not include sensitive health information, photos, or unnecessary personal details in a support request.

Website privacy

CigTrax currently does not use client-side analytics, advertising trackers, session recording, or non-essential cookies. Website hosting providers may process limited technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver, secure, and monitor the website.

CigTrax may review limited technical logs and aggregate operational metrics but does not use them to create visitor profiles or for advertising. The support page links to Google Forms instead of embedding a third-party form.

Use boundary

CigTrax is for personal awareness only. It does not sell tobacco, promote tobacco use, encourage tobacco use, provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, treat conditions, or operate as a smoking cessation program.

Future correction sharing

Future model-improvement features may allow users to share correction artifacts only after an explicit, off-by-default, user-controlled opt-in. No such upload queue is implemented in the current public app.
